While Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 mobile platform has yet to compete with heavy hitters like iOS and Android it is certainly being received quite well. As time goes on and more hardware manufacturers release smartphones powered by the platform things are sure to get considerably better.
While we’ve seen devices from big name manufacturers like HTC, ASUS has yet to push out their offering. But, thanks to the FCC, we now know of the Windows Phone 7 powered ASUS E600, pictured above. This device features a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen, 5.2 megapixel camera with LED flash, microSD card slot, 3.5 mm headphone jack, WiFi, GPS and a 1,300 mAh battery.
Additionally, it runs on the 850/1900MHz 3G bands so an educated guess would point towards an eventual release on AT&T.
Nothing official has been said about the ASUS E600 but we’ll keep you posted.

3D display technology is being talked about all throughout the gadget community but consumers have had a time figuring out if they really need such technology. Sure, it provides a more immersive experience but does is it worth the cost premium? Some say yes, some say no.
If you’re one who says yes, you will be interested to hear that Acer has just announced their first 3D notebook set for release in Japan dubbed the AS5745DG-A54E/L.

We have reported on the ASUS Eee Tablet, aka E90 or EeePad.
It was unveiled at Computex in June, and there hasn’t been much on it since then. We know that it has 2,450 dpi touchscreen sensitivity and quick 0.1 second page turns.
I also believe that it was supposed to come out sometime earlier, but it will probably not show up until 2011. That means it will most certainly show up at CES 2011 in Las Vegas. So far, there is no confirmation of a price.
