We we seen a lot of concept phones here like the AVA, the Sony Ericsson FH, and the Flex display.

Generally, these concept phones have some factor that differentiates them from the average ones. In this case of the Samsung Jot, it is the rotary dial making a comeback, not to mention the capacitive OLED display and removeable stylus.

I’ve yet to see any of the other concept phones become real, and I don’t know whether or not the Jot will come true either.

This is an interesting concept phone that uses a pen with an embedded optical sensor called the Traccia.

It is able to convert writing into text, commands, and other functions. For someone who enjoys hand-writing, it could be the ideal phone. There is even a camera in the center of the arc for taking pictures when necessary.

I don’t think I will see this phone anytime soon, but you got to like concept phones like AVA and the Tenna.

We have seen a lot concept phones like the Aqua Phone or even the iPhone 5 with holograms.

This is the MINIMA, and it has a wonderful wooden finish as well as a lattice style keyboard. All this gives the phone a fresh organic look like no other, and curved look as well.

We’ll see how this works out.

I’ve seen a lot of concept phones in my time like the Sleek, and this Rollphone is interesting for two reasons.

First of all, the Rollphone runs on AA batteries, which is a relief from the usual charger. I don’t know how many times my phone has run out of juice and I inconveniently don’t have my charger. I’ve seen chargers like the PowerPal that use an AA batteries, and perhaps it could work with a phone.

Second, it has this transparent screen that pulls out like a small scroll. It seems impossible, but I’m sure they said that about the iPhone at one time.
