Apple’s iPhone is one of the most popular touchscreen touting smartphones on the market. In fact, it’s so popular that despite the whole death grip fiasco that went on around its release, the device still managed to push millions of units. However, there is one thing that is fending off some potential consumers and that is none other than AT&T.

AT&T is one of the nation leading wireless carriers but due to poor reception in some areas, consumers have given it a bad name. This is why potential iPhone buyers are excited that rumors surrounding an iPhone 4 coming to Verizon are starting to heat up. Today, we have even more heat to add to the fire as Gizmodo has just posted the above picture that allegedly show Verizon’s version of the iPhone 4.

As you can see, the back is metal as opposed to the glass back AT&T’s versions have which is most likely to combat shattering. Another thing to note is our source says the device will come packaged witha  bumper leading us to believe Apple has yet to work out the death grip issues.

We’ll keep you posted as this one unfolds.
