The iPad is one of the hottest tablets on the market but is definitely not for everyone. In fact, without a physical keyboard it’s hard to justify the product as something for highly productive enterprising individuals. Luckily, there is a whole slew of accessories on the market that looks to change that ranging from Apple‘s official Bluetooth keyboard to third party accessories like the one pictured above.

This iPad case has just passed through the FCC and, as you can see, essentially turns the device into a laptop. Coming from Dongguan Siliten Electronics, it features a Blluetooth keyboard and even a stand making it easy to use without, you know, falling over.

There’s no word on when this will be available or at what price but, as always, we’ll keep you posted.

We’ve seen a lot of iDevices being used as musical instruments. There was that band on a New York subway using nothing but iPhones, and the Magic Fiddle App for the iPad.

Here is a Christmas concert at North Point Community Church, and, as you can see from the video, this iBand does some serious tunes with iPhones and iPads.

Yes, I wouldn’t have posted it if there were not iDevices, and yes, I wouldn’t have posted it at all if it wasn’t the holidays.

Hopefully you are as excited about Infinity Blade, a game that we reported on a while ago but didn’t have a release date.

The game is available now, and it is your best reason to stop playing WOW Cataclysm right now. It uses the Unreal Engine 3 technology, and you will be able to attack, cast spells, kill bad guys, and get treasure.

You should be able to get it on the iTunes Store for about $5.99.

One of the biggest new shows on television right now is The Walking Dead, and there’s a good reason. The comic that spawned it is one that a lot of people are fond of, and as a result, the series is getting a lot of that love too. I happen to be fond of it myself, and when I went into the Apple App Store as I so often do on Thursdays, the discovery of a Walking Dead app was a great one.

The Walking Dead app is basically a collection of the various back issues of The Walking Dead comic. You’ll be able to read at least part of the first one for free, and the rest will be available for purchase, making it a clearinghouse for all the back issues, as well as a way to track and see when the new one is finally out.

Believe me, that’s a question I’ve asked myself more than once: is the new Walking Dead out yet? And now, with this app, I can check and see if it’s available.  Plus, in this format, it works really well for reading, as the touchscreen makes it startlingly simple to flip pages–metaphorically, anyway–and the screen is just large enough to make the pages legible.

The down side here is that, while the app itself is free, you’ll be paying for every issue you decide to download. This is only fair, of course, but it’s worth warning you about that the app itself won’t have a whole lot of value until you shell out a load of cash getting the content in place. It’s like the app itself is the start of a great app, but it won’t truly be one until you get the content in.

Still though, if you like the Walking Dead, the Walking Dead app is going to be just what you want–and it’ll sure beat having stacks of comic books on hand.
