NowPlayingPandora is an ActionMenu plugin that makes it easy to tell the world what you’re listening to. All that it takes is a quick copy and paste, and just like that, all of your twitter followers will know just how much you adore you know who.
It’s refreshing to see that one of the best jailbreak apps ever — ActionMenu — is still receiving support on the developer end. The latest plugin to arrive on the scene is appropriately entitled, NowPlayingPandora…
If you’re looking for a very, very silly app that will entertain both kids and adults alike, you might want to check out the new Unicorn Disco app by Unicorn Labs. These are the guys behind Unicorn Shots – a very popular photo editing app, which creates funny and silly scenes with photos. Now, they’ve added an ability to use your own music and some animation in this fun new app!
It’s not a game, per se, and it’s not a photography app, either. What this app claims to be is a ‘companion’ app to help you enjoy your music in a fun and hilarious way. You can create custom characters to suit your own personality or music style, and have them dance in real-time to the music that is playing.
If you want to create a character with your own face or a face of a friend or family member, you can import the photo, properly set it up, and then go ahead and add outfits and wigs to make your character extra silly. There’s lots of different options to choose, from cuddly animals to scary monsters. You can even import your pet’s face, or a celebrity! You can use the shortcuts built it to start and stop the music at any time, or even randomize the entire outfit and background, giving a fun new combinations. Surprise yourself and your friends with this entertaining and very wacky app.
Once you’ve had your fun, you can always create a snapshot and send it to a friend. You could create a bunch of different versions of yourself dancing to the tunes, or grab a pic you had of one of your friends, dress them up, and send them a photo as a gag. With the variety of costumes and wigs, it works out that this is a good time to release this app – just before Halloween! You could make Halloween-themed dancers, and have them dance along with ‘Thriller!’
Unicorn Disco is for the silly, kid-at-hearts; if you’re not into this type of humor, you might want to steer clear, but if you are you will enjoy its wackiness! Check out the overly dramatic preview video below:

Did you know that before becoming famous for his iPhone jailbreaks and unlocks, Geohot tried to get a piece of the music industry?
Fortunately for us, he’s far better at hacking gadgets than he is at songwriting and singing. This was sent in by iDB reader Josh who apparently stumbled upon this little gem on YouTube. Check it out… Read More
A recent addition to the LG mobile phone lineup, the LG GS170, gave me more than a few troubles recently when I went to have a look at it. It did offer some welcome features, and some worthwhile facets to its operation, but it’s also got a lot of problems to it–a LOT of them.
The LG GS170 is a flip phone that offers Bluetooth connectivity, speakerphone, three different kinds of messaging capability (text, picture and instant), a phone book with sufficient capacity for a thousand entries, alarm clock, notepad, calculator, voice recorder, a VGA camera (shoots in your choice of 640

On May 28, 2010 Sebastien wrote an article on the fact that anyone running Ubuntu Lucid Lynx could potentially access your iPhone’s data with ease getting around the PIN.
Well, starting with Ubuntu 10.04 you can actually access your entire iPhone without a jailbreak or unlock. The developers of Ubuntu found a way to build this entirely into the operating system itself and it’s just a matter of plugging in your iPhone and ‘bam’ instant access. Ubuntu can not only access the entire iPhone storage but the default mp3 player software called Rythmbox can access all the music and even sync music with the iPhone from an Ubuntu PC… Read More
