Apple’s iPad has been without a doubt one of the most tablets on the market. This shouldn’t come as a surprise considering the Apple iPad is pretty much the only big name tablet on the market. While there are several other hard hitting competitors in the pipeline, Apple’s expansion efforts may prove themselves to be enough to fend them off.

Today, for example, it was made known that Apple is looking ot bring their critically acclaimed tablet to the shores of South Korea. If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll know that the iPad is available in quite a few nations but with some remaining dry.

If there proves itself to be true, it would be a huge step for Apple. South Korea is a very technologically focused nation with Samsung being one of their leading hardware manufacturers. With the iPad on the market, Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy Tab will certainly be getting a run for its money, or so we hope.

With the release of iOS 4.1.1 or even 4.1 right around the corner, it would be a wise thing to do to save your iPhone iOS 4.1 SHSH blobs either on Cydia, or locally with TinyUmbrella. Saving your SHSH blobs will be helpful if you ever want to downgrade your iPhone to previous firmware version.

Usually, Cydia does this automatically for you, but to be on the safe side, you can always run TinyUmbrella, which is what I just did. Here is how to use TinyUmbrella to save your SHSH blobs… Read More

Android has seen itself get installed on a whole slew of devices but there’s just one problem. Google engineer’s work so fast that their Android releases outpace smartphone releases. This means taht by the time a device gets pushed out, there is usually already a newer version of Android on the market. This can be made evident with Android 2.2 (Froyo), the latest version, which has only been installed on a handful of devices thus far.

One such device is the 5-inch touchscreen touting Dell Streak. While this device features specs that many would consider high end, it ships with Android 1.6. Luckily, it was just made known that a beta version of the Streak’s Android 2.2 update was released today. However, seeing how it’s not official, your’e going to have to proceed at your own risk.

If you try this out, let us know how it goes.

Talking about drama… LimeRa1n was released minutes ago and the first reviews are not very good. Worst part is Geohot decided to screw the whole jailbreak community by revealing his exploit whereas the Chronic Dev had been working on their own SHAtter exploit for weeks now.

MuscleNerd just confirmed on Twitter that SHAtter will not be used this time for GreenPois0n. Instead of “giving away” 2 exploits to Apple, both iPhone Dev Teams have decided to hold on on the release of a SHAtter-based jailbreak and instead, they will use Geohot’s exploit. This is good, but this could also mess up the release of GreenPois0n… Read More

While I was at CTIA Fall 2010, I got another chance to see another GameHouse game for the iPad, besides Sally’s Salon Luxury Edition.

This is Marble Mixer, a game where you can shoot marbles with a flick of a finger. It can be played with 1-4 players in three ways. Space Mania allows you to shoot for points on a black hole type thing that you have to play to believe. I also played Monster picnic, which allows for shooting marbles into a spinning hole. There is another called Table Tactics which I didn’t get a chance to play.

It is available for the iPad for $1.99, which you can get now at the iTunes store.
