Do you remember the day? It was the Stevenote of June 7th, 2010. I remember it like it was yesterday. It was the day that Apple unveiled iOS 4 for the iPhone. Every Apple geek was brimming with excitement as the first, official look at Apple’s new software on the iPhone 4′s mind-blowing retina display.

That beautiful water droplet wallpaper on Steve Job’s iPhone 4 made every wallpaper geek drool. Apparently, Apple’s pre-installed wallpaper on the iPhone 4 has inspired some designers out there to create more amazing water droplet wallpapers for your iPhones. I don’t know if Facebook really needs any more publicity, but there is this rumor going around that the Social Network, soon to be a major motion picture, is making a phone.

The report came from TechCrunch that they were “secretly working on the project”. Facebook, with all their info leverage in their big social network, has responded saying that they are not building a phone.

They did say that they are working on a lot of mobile phone applications. I can’t help but wonder how a Facebook phone got started. It is like those Apple rumors.

I get many offers from websites to do paid reviews of their services but I rarely (if ever) do it because I usually don’t think the site is good enough to share with you. I was recently contacted by the guys over at eSeth.net to do a review of their site. To be honest, they’re paying me money for this but that doesn’t mean I’m going to be gentle with them.

Wasn’t I just talking about the special edition R2-D2 Live Wallpaper? Yes, I was, just yesterday.

Perhaps you want a little more variety on your Google Live Wallpaper. In that case, you should probably get in this particular App known as Wallpaper Rotator.

Wallpaper Rotator is exactly what it says that it is: an App offers wallpaper swapping from a local directory or Flickr account. It can rotate it at a user-defined interval that ranges from every half-hour, hour, six hours, day, or even week.

The App is free, so enjoy it, all you Android users!

We all know that Android phones have Live Wallpapers, and we also know about the special R2-D2 editions. Someone has seen fit to combine the best of both worlds with this R2-D2 Edition Live Wallpaper.

They also come in the non-Live edition if you want to go that direction, and they come in designs ranging from Boba Fett, Yoda, to the man/droid himself.

Just a friendly reminder, the release date for the R2-D2 edition is still September 30th, as far as I know.
