The Apple iPhone SDK final is the stable (non-beta) version of the iPhone SDK. Apple have released a new SDK for iPhone OS 2.1, however, that version enhanced the checking of provisioning profiles, and we cannot use our old method to install apps on the iPhone and debug it with XCode without a paid iPhone Developer program.
With the iPhone SDK final, and the instructions located at

we can debug applications with XCode, and don’t need to pay for the iPhone developer program.
