I think we all know that iPhones and iPads can be hacked, but what about the iPod nano.

We all know that it the iPod Nano looks great on a watch, but would you like to see Apps on it. You can see it on the video, complete with the scrolling with a finger.

According to my Source, the hack isn’t powered by iOS, so don’t expect iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch interfaces as yet. It is a rehashed version of the previous nano’s operating system.

I’m pretty certain that Apple does not approve of any hacks. They don’t seem too fond of jailbreaking, so they might actually hate this thing.

I wonder if we are going to see more of this, but if the iPod nano gets too much apps, then it will be hard to scroll through.

googlenexussj Google Nexus S Makes Way to Market, Quickly Gets Rooted

It isn’t long after a device hits the market that the hacking community comes forth to undo all of the security measures put in place by its original manufacturer. It seems that the Samsung manufactured Android ’Gingerbread‘ 2.3 powered Google Nexus S is no different. Just after letting you know that the device was officially put up for sale over at Best Buy, our friends over at the XDA-Developers forums have come forth with some exciting news.

If you could guess, yes, the Google Nexus S has already been rooted and the method is available to all. Of course, if you’re going to go ahead with this make sure you take the necessary precautions (read: know what you’re doing) as mishaps could potentially happen.

I don’t know about you guys but I’m thinking Samsung should hire a few of the folks over at XDA-Developers. Maybe then we’d finally have a widespread Froyo roll out for the Samsung Galaxy S. Hey, I can dream, can’t I?

Hey Mac home theater users, listen up — your AirPlay wishes have come true. TUAW’s very own Erica Sadun has developed a free (ad supported) 0.01 AirPlayer alpha hack that lets your Mac play host to AirPlay video streamed off of iOS devices. Right, just like an Apple TV and without requiring a Jailbreak. But as long as you’re skirting official support anyway, why not install the free AirVideoEnabler app onto your jailbroken iPod touch, iPad, or iPhone to stream video from even more applications than Apple currently allows. Works for us. Everyone else can check the video after the break.
