A few months ago we mentioned the Sound ID 510 bluetooth headset but today Sound ID announced three new models, the Sound ID 520, Sound ID 512, and Sound ID 500 which are priced between $80 and $130.
The new Sound ID bluetooth headsets support the EarPrint iPhone application and its battery life can last 5 hours on talking mode, or close to 135 hours in standby mode. Other features include a touch sensor volume so you can easily set the volume via a touch control, as well as multi-point technology so you can connect the headset to two devices at the same time.
While the ID 520 and 512 models have three microphones, the Sound ID 500 model has two mics which provides a reduction for the background noise.
- A2DP: Listen to music, GPS, web casts and more; the headset mutes music when a call comes in.
- Pass Thru Mode: Amplify surrounding sound while wearing the headset – allowing clear conversations “On” and “Off” the phone.

We have reported on a lot of Bluetooth keyboards for mobile devices like the EFO Mini, Freedom i-Connex, and Chinavasion.
My Source likes this one because it seems very “Great Pumpkin” in its design. If it were the end of October, then this would be some serious Halloween decor.
It has 54 keys, multimedia hot keys, slim body, and a built-in rechargeable battery. You can get it from our friends at Brando for about $54.

In this day and age productivity and time management are crucial when it comes to the working world. Due to these cut throat practices, pulling out a mobile phone everytime a text message or phone call is recieved may not be in the plans for high profile executives.
Luckily, if you’re an Android user, you’ll no longer have to whip out your phone every time you receive a notification as desktop software that will do just that was recently released. This software will notify a user every time an SMS text message or phone call is received thanks to WiFi/Bluetooth connectivity.
Other features of this Android Desktop Notifier include notifications when a voicemail is received and when battery is running low, notifying you that you’re in need of a recharge.
