[MUST SEE] ALL iPhone 2G Users MUST SEE 3.0GM PLUS JAILBREAK

Hi all,

I have discovered a away to update locked iphone 2G to the new 3.0GM (Gold Master) firmware.

I have not tried it on 3G iPhone yet.

Try it on your own risk. I am not responsible for any damage I’m just testing on my iPhone 2G which is a spare and posting my results. See for yourself.

You have to Downgrade your iPhone first to version 2.0.2. You have to use winpwn-2.5 BETA YOU MUST RUN UPDATE PRIOR

I’m uploading the files but if you like to search for them yourself might be quicker my upload speed sucks.

FOLLOW

1. Open Winpwn-2.5

2. Run Update

3. For iPhone 2G select the first iPhone on the left.

4. Select the version of Firmware you are downgrading to in this case 2.0.2

5. Select NO on this Step

6. Click YES to unlock your iPhone

7. Click NO for custom Logos

8. The application will try to search for the Original 2.0.2 firmware, you will need to locate it.

9. The Application might ask you for bin files if you don’t have them download below:

10. Let the app do its thing

IF YOUR APP SHUTS DOWN AROUND HERE YOU HAVEN’T UPDATED

11. After the Custom firmware is built the application will show you how to get your iPhone into DFU mode.

12. When your iPhone is in DFU mode Open iTunes and HOLD SHIFT KEY then click on Restore and locate the file.

13. iTunes then proceed with Restoring your Custom Firmware this process takes a few minutes. After iTunes has completed the Restore you will be prompted with option to restore or set up new iPhone. SET UP NEW iPhone

14. In next step UN-CHECK EVERYTHING

15. Now before you continue with UPDATING your iPhone to 3.0 Gold Master you have to UN-CHECK Automatically sync when this iPhone is connected.

16. Now HOLD SHIFT KEY and Update you iPhone with OS 3.0 Gold Master.

17. Now you need to find QuickPwn Designed for Beta Release 5.

UPLOADING Search Forum for QuickPwnFullB5 you will also need to find the Release Beta 5 firmware.

Follow the Steps when selecting the firmware select the BETA 5 Release and UN-CHECK the INSTALLER like it says.

After that you should have JailBroken 3.0GM. i checked my About it refers to BETA 5 Release but my apps are still there so it didn’t do a restore because i disconnected the iPhone from PC when QuickPwn finished transferring the files.
