Have you ever heard the expression: “numbers don’t lie”. Well, they sometimes do.
For example, I had from a reliable source that one million iPad’s were sold last weekend, but the actual sales, as announced by Apple itself, was actually about 300,000 on Saturday, not the 700,000 that I said there were.
In my defense, I did put an asterisk (*) on my title, and said that I would report if these numbers changed. Guess what, they did. I think I’m in the clear on this one.
One million was the correct number of iPad apps downloaded from Apple’s App Store. It has also been reported that 250,000.
