The iPad is finally available on the Apple store from today onwards. Surely, the iPad has been the most anticipated piece of technology for a long time. And if it does follow in the footsteps of Apple’s iPhone, then surely it is going to achieve a lot of popularity.
Thousands of people had already pre-ordered the device and it is being predicted that Apple might sell atleast 6 million iPads within a year. This is definitely going to be a big achievement for Apple as this is exactly how many iPhones Apple sold in the first two years, and the iPad isn’t a necessary device as well like a phone or a computer. Although it is great to have such a device, but it isn’t absolutely necessary to get. Hundreds of people were already waiting outside the Apple store in midtown Manhattan, in order to get their hands on the device. And in case if you still don’t have a clue about the iPad, it is basically a mobile computer. The tablet weighs about a-pound-and-a-half, and does not have any mouse or DVD slot.
