iFlag India – 3D Flag 1.0

Category: Entertainment
Price: $0.99 (iTunes)

Description:

Watch the demo video on iToys3D.com and see this must have application in action. Supports both iPhone and iPod Touch. If you are looking for the flag of another country, please search for “iFlag” in iTunes or visit iToys3D.com.

This is a cool application with an interactive 3D flag of India. It is a live interactive simulation of a 3D Indian flag modeled and simulated like cloth using laws of physics, so it moves and feels similar to an actual flag. You can interact and play with it in a number of ways as explained below.

When you run it, you see a flag that is waving in the wind, similar to an actual flag. To interact with it, you can:

- touch and pull the flag by touching and swiping with your fingers,

- turn the wind on and off by tapping once,

- blow soft wind from your fingers by touching twice,

- make it play the national anthem by tapping twice,

- tilt the device and watch the flag obey the gravity.

You can watch the video on iToys3D.com to have a better feel on how to use the application and what you can do with it. The finger gestures support multitouch, so you can pull the flag with some fingers while blowing wind on it with others.

Ever wanted to download torrents on your iPhone? It is now possible thanks to an application called Torrentula.

Torrentula is available for download from Cydia, which means you will have to jailbreak your iPhone to use it… The app also requires the latest version of Jiggy Runtime to be installed on your iPhone. Check this out for more information about Jiggy Runtime. After doing that, add the following source in Cydia: http://itouch.rockt.es/repo.xml

Sunburst, the developer of Torrentula explains what to do next:

Download .torrent files to your device with the HistoryDL.app (recommended) or the Safari Download Plugin into the mobile (or root)/Downloads folder. The program will scan your mobile (or root)/Downloads folder for new torrent files, and will import any valid torrent files regardless of their filename or extension. When a torrent has finished downloading from peers it will be automatically moved to mobile (or root)/Media/Downloads when selected. Note: Torrents continue downloading even when program is closed. A device restart can often activate/fix stubborn torrents.

Torrentula will then let you browse torrents site such as MiniNova and will let you download BitTorrents straight to your iPhone.

I haven’t tried this app myself but iPhone Download Blog reader Jenster sent me this tip saying it’s working great. Try it out and let us know what you think by leaving a comment.

In case you though yesterday’s picture was the Apple tablet than we have to correct your thoughts. The tablet in the picture is in fact the real thing. That’s right, this is the Apple tablet at least until tomorrow when we’re going to see another leaked shot of it which will probably look very different from this one.

Either way Apple, we don’t really want to know more about your denied but soon-to-come tablet. We already know how a tablet looks like and we’ve already seen it in miniature. People call it the iPhone 3GS nowadays. And we already know it will sport some sort of tweaked, pimped out iPhone OS. That’s why we promise to act really surprised when Steve Jobs will unveil it later this fall.

Now let’s focus on this photoshopped image right here. The tablet seems to run Mac OS X in the background. So what happened to that iPhone OS tablet version? What do you think folks? Do we smell a rat?

Wonder what the tablet will look like early tomorrow morning…
