Android – Iphone – Applications

We have recently reported that PayPal has an iPhone App that allows for payment from one iPhone user to the other by “bumping”.

PayPal plans to put this App on Blackberry and Android devices, and will even have the “bumping” feature. I don’t have any word of its initial release.

Considering the popularity of the Powermat and WildCharge, it was only a matter of time before a wireless charger is made for a specific phone.

So why not the myTouch 3G from T-Mobile? This charger is designed by PureEnergy Solutions, makers of the WildCharge, and comes with a replacement back for the myTouch 3G specifically designed for the myTouch Drop and Go.

Is this a plot to replace the charging cable with a wireless charger? I thought we were getting to the point where wireless chargers were just compatible with any mobile device, really?

Considering that the Nintendo 3DS is coming next year, it is clear that 3D technology for mobiles has some interesting developments.

South Korean scientists at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology believes that they are working on 3D ebooks that are animated when tilted.

Oddly enough, this development still requires the 3D glasses, but isn’t this something that Nintendo says you won’t need for the 3DS?

Here is an iPhone dock that I would gladly buy, and I don’t even have an iPhone.

Truth be told, it was the Lego look that got to me. Granted, it doesn’t have a piece that charges or syncs it to your computer, but it does hold it in place so you can insert the charging cable.

The creator of this Lego iPhone dock, johnnyT23, is planning on selling his Lego iPhone cradle for $13. I highly recommend that he make more of them.

Here is some concept technology to show what it would look like if a MacBook with 3D capability was on sale at the Apple Store.

Considering all the 3D hype lately, is a MacBook 3D too far from the truth? Granted, it isn’t on the Apple Store yet, but with an Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA graphics, and a stereoscopic iSight camera, it won’t be long, I’m sure.
