Enthusem.com is a new service that allows users to send printed greeting cards with online attachments. What does this mean? First you write a letter and if you want to include a link or attachment that you want the receiver to check out, you upload or link it on the Enthusem.com website. Enthusem gives you a special code that will go into the printed greeting card as well.
After the receiver checks out the attachment, the sender is sent an e-mail notification too. Sending the card anywhere in the world costs between $2 and $4.
Enthusem.com was founded by Steve Tingiris and Marc Fors. In 2006, Tingiris founded TouchTracks and sold it to Printable Technologies. Fors was the chairman of Printable Technologies before joining Enthusem.com. Angela Medlar serves as the Director of Client Services. Enthusem.com presented at the DEMO conference earlier this week.

As many of you know if one of your bad apple employees taint your brand, people become furious and make comments all over the Internet. This was especially evident when two disgusting Domino’s Pizza employees in South Carolina uploaded a video of themselves tampering with food. One of the employees stuck toppings up his nose and put them in sandwiches. Domino’s Pizza President Patrick Doyle made a video response apologizing for what happened.
ePulze allows you to search for brands and track how people are responding to them. The service extracts comments, opinions, reviews from forums and social networks. The ePulze search engine technology is intended for advertisers so that campaigns can be adjusted based on public opinions. ePulze launched earlier this week at the DEMO conference.
I’ve tested a few words on ePulze on the search engine, but did not have much luck getting results yet. I’m assuming that they are still tweaking a few things at the company. This post will be updated when I notice some changes.

Mzinga is a service that allows corporations to build social networks for their customers, alumni, current employees, and those who retired. Mzinga social networks include wikis, blogs, a voting system for stories, polls, surveys, etc. Earlier this week Mzinga raised $10 million in funding, led by Acadia Woods Partners. Additional investors include BlueCrest Venture Finance Master Fund, W Capital Partners, and Shared Capital Partners.
Barry Libert, the CEO of Mzinga said that the funding will be used for sales and development. Mzinga is also launching a new service called OmniSocial which has enhanced social media marketing and analytics. Some of OmniSocial’s clients include HSBC and iVillage.
“We think teams should be able to see a project in the cloud, plan meetings, leave comments, chat about it—but most of all, keep track of that workflow—with the same tool,” stated Libert. “Salesforce is definitely doing it, but not many others are.”

“The rate of App Store downloads continues to accelerate with users downloading a staggering two billion apps in just over a year, including more than half a billion apps this quarter alone,” stated Apple CEO Steve Jobs in a press release. “The App Store has reinvented what you can do with a mobile handheld device, and our users are clearly loving it.”
Apple has announced today that over 2 billion applications have been downloaded from the App Store. The App Store is currently the largest applications store in the world. There are about 85,000 applications available for download as of today and there are about 50 million iPhone and iPod Touch customers around the world. In the Apple iPhone Developer program, there are 125,000 (registered) developers.
As Peter Kafka points out, in the last 76 days Apple sold 500 million applications. On average, that is about 6.6 million downloads per day in the last 76 days. Between the 85,000 applications, it is estimated that Apple is making roughly $200 million per month. Since Apple keeps 30%, that means the company would be making $720 million per year just from the applications business.
