Following the news that Apple is partnering with Naunce for voice integration in iOS 5, we’ve heard from an inside source at Apple that iOS 5 will allow you to read your voicemails. Google Voice has offered voicemail transcription for quite some time, and, according to our anonymous source, Apple is hard at work to implement this type of service into iOS 5.

More cloud-based features are rumored to debut in Apple’s next major release of iOS when the software is previewed at WWDC this June. A more Google-esque approach to cloud services makes sense if Apple wants to stay competitive in the cloud space. Voicemail transcription would be one more feature to beef up Apple’s cloud offerings…(…)

Viber is the product of a small Israeli startup, Viber Media Inc. They launched the first version of their VoIP app back in December of last year to rave reviews.

Much like Skype, Viber makes free phone calls over Wi-Fi and 3G to other users with the Viber client. Unlike Skype, there’s no need to create an account.

The typical process for making calls with 3rd party applications can be tedious. “We still goin’ fishin’ this weekend?”
“Nah, Lumbergh’s gonna have me come in on Saturday, I just know it.”

It’s unfortunate that we all can’t just sit in a boat all day and fish. There’s just something nice about sitting on a lake with only nature and a beer in sight. Instead, we all have to work… sometimes even on the weekends.

Working these days doesn’t necessarily mean productivity though, so hop on your iPhone and pick up Field and Stream Fishing.

Field and Stream Fishing isn’t your ordinary zen-like arcade fishing experience, it is a full on fishing experience brought to you by the the official magazine company. With a handful of adventure quests to go on, 13 fish species to catch, and full flick casting with twitch controls, you might just be able to make yourself believe you are on the water. You’ll never be quite as cool as the guy below, but hey, there’s nothing wrong with your menial desk job.

Just don’t get caught at work with a beer in a coozie, that could spell bad things for your employment.

Check out some screenshots of the app after the break.
