Apple said that the screen was “chemically strengthened to be 20 times stiffer and 30 times harder than plastic.” It was also supposed to be “ultradurable and more scratch resistant than ever.” The iFixyouri team decided to test out these new features by dropping it from 3.5 feet.
The iPhone 4 that iFixyouri had did not have any internal components. It survived the first two drops, but the third drop is what shattered the screen.
