Let’s face it: much of radio makes for boring noise nowadays. Listening to audiobooks and podcasts while driving have become increasingly popular–especially if your commute is in the horrendously trafficked Los Angeles–but what if you want to take notes after hearing something particularly noteworthy? (Public service announcement: don’t take notes while [...]
With the iPhone 4 being unveiled, we all knew that there would be a share of gaudy accessories. The CrystalRoc, for example, is one of them.
I realize that the name sounds like some new kind of drug, but it is actually a way to coat the back of an iPhone4 with 1,500 Swarovski crystals. I’m not certain who would want this, but I’m thinking rich heiresses and James Bond villains that are obsessed with diamonds.
Look for it for about $288.75. You might want to see what they did to iPads as well.
The last time I covered what Time was doing in the digital realm, it was concerning the “Manhattan Project”. I haven’t heard more of that, but they have an iPad App that looks intriguing.
You can see in this video of the iPad, Time Magazine has video footage and many photos, something not possible on the printed page. The user also has access to the latest updates.
I guess we all knew that this would happen, so it happens that Time Magazine has it.
I don’t know if you have heard of this, but apparently there was a breach into AT&T’s systems, and 114,000 Apple iPad owners got their e-mail addresses leaked.
The FBI is now looking into this case and doing an investigation into the “potential cyber threat”, even though AT&T has claimed to have “plugged the hole” as far as how the breach occurred. I suppose we will probably hear more as this case develops, and maybe the hacker will be caught.
Until then, my Source gives some sage advice to iPad user: don’t open any odd e-mails concerning your iPad bill.
This is the Toughcase from Magellan, and it is meant to protect your iPhone from tough conditions.
It has a battery pack, GPS receiver, and is IPX-7 waterproof. I’m not certain what type of waterproof that is, but I’m guessing it is pretty wet. They will be making one for the iPhone 4, but it will be made thicker with this. At least you can easily access your iPhone applications.
So, if your job is in some tough conditions, then you might as well get this for about $200.
