There is a rumor going about saying that the HTC Incredible may go the way of the Droid Eris (discontinued).
Considering that some still have the phone on order, that is hard to believe. However, my source reveals “…they are allowing customers who pre-orded it [Droid Incredible] to cancel their order and get the Motorola Droid X instead.”
The cause is the AMOLED screen. Apparently, there is a shortage of them, and they may need to cut this phone to make room for another. So that makes the lifespan of the Incredible no more than two months. Dang. It was just selling out a while ago.
