And we go forth to the App Store, as I do on Thursdays, to find a new part of the App Store to talk about for you today, and today, I’m going to give you a little extra help in the form of an app that helps you find other apps: the AppShopper.
AppShopper gives you a variety of tools with which to find other apps, like searching by most frequent download, by what’s been recently added, or with a general name search. You’ll also get to discover apps that have been recently discounted, as well as free apps. The standard apps are all available here, and you’ll be able to search anything from games to music to photography and beyond.
Sure, the app itself won’t do too much, but it will help you navigate through the endless array of apps there are out there, and it’ll do so with an easy graphic-based interface. You’ll be able to see at a glance costs, any applicable discounts, updates, and how long ago the update was launched. It’s actually pretty easy to use, which is fantastic. And though, like I said, the app itself doesn’t have a whole lot of value to it, its worth lies in the ability to find other apps. And in a place like the App Store, it’s good to have a friend to show you around, even if that friend is an app.
Best part? AppShopper is free, so you’ll be able to start sifting through the massive piles of the App Store without having to shell out cash to do so.
The Good
