For those of you who want to exchange information without business cards might want to look into this app known as My Name is E.
My name is E involves users exchanging information online with just three taps. It can be done iPhone to iPhone, or directly to email. You can add notes to received cards, and even view social networking information. The App even saves the location of where a business card was shared or sent, and all that is required is an internet solution.
Best of all, this App is available on the iTunes Store for free.
