Voice Memos iOS 5 Will Transcribe Your Voicemail to Text

Following the news that Apple is partnering with Naunce for voice integration in iOS 5, we’ve heard from an inside source at Apple that iOS 5 will allow you to read your voicemails. Google Voice has offered voicemail transcription for quite some time, and, according to our anonymous source, Apple is hard at work to implement this type of service into iOS 5.

2011 05 11 thirdrail Third Rail iPhone case has detachable battery, probably wont electrocute you

For humans, coming into contact with the third rail will likely void your personal lifetime warranty, but one accessory manufacturer hopes to apply a similar concept to your iPhone — in much smaller doses, of course. For $90, the Third Rail System includes an iPhone 4 Slim Case, which always surrounds your device, and a 1250 mAh Smart Battery that you can slide into place whenever you need a boost. google music Google Launched Music Beta Without Label’s Consent, All Eyes on Apple

When we reported yesterday that Google unveiled its cloud service, we mentioned why it was such a shocker. Earlier rumors suggested that Google’s talks with major record labels had come to a halt, so it was certainly strange to see them launch so quickly.

Apparently, losing support of the music industry wasn’t enough to stop Google from launching their new cloud-based music service. Cnet is reporting that the search giant moved forward with Music Beta, without obtaining any licenses from record labels…(…)
