I’m sure that all of you have used Skype for communicating computer to computer, and buying Skype Credit allows Skype users to call mobile phones at 25 cents a minute or 2-3 cents per minute for landline.

Now Skype is doing monthly unlimited subscription plans, and will allow users to call both landlines and mobile phones for a flat fee. In addition to this, Skype has expanded their subscriptions for 170 countries, whereas before they offered them in 40 countries.

This is what my source says about the subscription: “Skype is offering 60-, 120-, and 400-minute-per-month packages for 1-, 3-, and 12-month durations. Prices start at $1.09 per month for some countries.”

This isn’t the first time that we reported on Waze, a mapping app that does more than just find what you are looking for.

Yesterday, Waze was released in beta form for BlackBerry users. It allows for turn-by-turn voice navigation, real-time traffic, other location specific alerts, and this app simultaneously sends anonymous information such as speed and location. Apparently, Waze has some sort of traveling game where users find “e-cupcakes” on their trips.

You should be able to get this program for BlackBerry models 8900, 9000, 9630, and 9700 in Beta mode.
