Ranking pretty high amongst paid apps for the last couple of weeks, Robot Unicorn Attack would be a mystery if it weren’t for the Adult Swim brand. Seems you can take a ridiculous premise that would never in a million years succeed as a handheld arcade-style game and then attach Adult Swim to the title, and it sells.

With or without the branding, Robot Unicorn Attack comes across at first glance as a mushy, froo-froo concept complete with rainbows and unicorns and wishes. Everything an eight-year-old girl might be looking for in a game, but surely not designed for the masses.

On the contrary, Robot Unicorn Attack would probably give little girls nightmares. (…)

Apple just released iOS 4.2 Beta to developers. As 9 to 5 Mac noted, it’s not only available for iPhones as you can also download iOS 4.2 Beta for iPad, which will bring over-the-air printing.

Last week we reported that GreenPois0n might become the next iOS 4.1 jailbreak, and it turns out it now has its own dedicated website over at www.GreenPois0n.com. A quick look at the whois information for this domain name shows that it was created on September 11, 2009 by an anonymous registrant.

This video should bring up lots of memories to our older readers. TUAW found some footage of an Einstein Newton emulator running on what seems to be an iPhone 3G or 3GS. The thing is painfully slow but the developer said he’ll be working on it.
