Tales of Monkey Island 1 comes to the iPad

Games, Iphone | 1 views Add comments

We have reported about Monkey Island before with a deal on Monkey Island Special Edition and Secret of Monkey Island 2.

Telltale Inc has released a new version of Monkey Island with Tales of Monkey Island Episode 1: Launch of the Screaming Narwhal. It is “first of a five-episode saga with an intriguing storyline that becomes deeper and more entangled as it unfolds”.

If you aren’t familiar with Monkey Island, it is essentially an RPG style of adventure game with Guybrush Threepwood and his girlfriend Elaine, as he faces off against the evil pirate LeChuck. It is an excellent mix of swashbuckling adventure and humor.

You should be able to get Tales of Monkey Island 1 on the iTunes store for about $6.99.
