Android – Iphone – Applications

Simple yet exquisite, sushi dishes have mesmerized people around the world ever since Japan was opened up to the world(albeit forcefully by Commodore Matthew Perry in 1854).

The Japanese depiction of Commodore Matthew Perry right here-

(Kinda ugly. Or must’ve been those bad tan-lines. No wonder the Japanese didn’t want to start trade, let alone give up the sushis.)

Back to the sushi business. The art of sushi preparation – so graceful, elegant, precise. The skills that sushi chefs possess almost seem sacred and mysterious.

And now – this new iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch app ‘Teach Me Sushi’ allows you to learn this beautiful art digitally.

Teach Me Sushi basically shows you how to make sushi step by step. The app has about a total of 45 minutes of individual 5 min video lessons. It covers just about every aspect of sushi preparation from the very basics to the most advanced and unique. The ingredient lists and shopping locations are also available for your convenience.

The app is $4.99, but of course, this is nothing compared to the prices at sushi restaurants. With some practice, you can make your own delicious sushi in no time at a much cheaper price. No wonder the reviews of this app are raving about its greatness. I, myself, will give this app – 11/10.

And some more fun…who can forget…some sushi humor – straight from the land of the rising sun.

“Veni, vidi, vici” (”I came, I saw, I conquered.”)
-Julius Caesar-

The question is – Can you do the same?

Modern Conflict for iPad/iPhone is a real-time strategy game in which you can command tanks and helicopters to defeat your enemies.

While the game requires some serious strategic ingenuity on par with Napoleon, Caesar, Alexander the Great, and Ghengis Khan, the game control itself is brilliantly easy. All you got to do is, tap on the touch screen to select your unit and tap again to send them to a certain location or to attack. The tutorial is even included for your convenience, but I personally feel that it’s totally unnecessary.

Air strikes, reinforcements, communication interception, and other functions are also available.

This game comes with a surprising amount of 33 missions across America, Russia, and China along with randomly generated missoins.

Another great thing is that you can even play this game against other players to see how much better or worse you are.

This feature-galore factor of the game combined with the simple controls makes this game very addictive. The most surprising part is that it’s only $1.99 for a complex, addictive game that you can play for days and on.
