With the addition of the “landscape” mode into the Mail app it has started being used as my main method of email composition, but that could soon change. Cult of Mac reader Matt Janssen recently announced that the Mail app has a major security flaw that could allow others to view your deleted email with an easy search.

Those who use the new firmware update 3.0, regardless if it’s for the iPhone 2G, 3G, 3GS, or any iPod,  might want to watch how many sensitive emails they have stored on their iPhone. Even if you delete the email…

Facebook 3.0 Submitted To App Store, Could Arrive Today

facebook30 Facebook 3.0 Submitted To App Store, Could Arrive Today

If you have an iPhone, one of the first apps you downloaded was most likely Facebook (if not, have you been living under a rock?). Well, it was recently announced that the app’s latest version, 3.0, has been submitted to the App Store for Apple’s sign of approval.

There’s no telling when exactly the updated version of the app will be made available but included above are 2 screen shots Gizmodo managed to snag before they were pulled. As you can see, even though the version number is still 2.5, the screen shots display content only found in 3.0.

Could this mean the update is to be pushed out today? Let’s hope so.

More Supposedly Leaked Chrome OS Screen Shots

chromeosscreenshot1 More Supposedly Leaked Chrome OS Screen Shots

Back in July we saw the first set of leaked Chrome OS screen shots, or so we thought. Turns out, those were fake (who could have guessed?) but today, we bring you more screen shots of the operating system. The verdict? Still most likely fake.

While the UI looks like something Google could possibly have backed, why are the images taken on a CRT monitor? Considering Google’s massive size, one would think they would be able to provide their developers with a screen that isn’t dated as the one pictured above.

Either way, we’re going to just assume these are fake until Google comes forward and gives us an actual glimpse of the OS in action.

 Unannounced Android MID Pictured

androidmid Unannounced Android MID Pictured

What you see above is an Android-powered MID that is leaving pretty much the entire Internet clueless. We’ve heard absolutely nothing about it, no name, no prices, no release dates, nothing.

However, if and when the ~4.5″ device does make its way to shelves all I know is that I definitely want one. Pocketables says there are to be 2 buttons on the top of this MID along with an SD slot for added storage.

On another note, slap a Mac OS X screen shot on there and you have yourself a perfect mock up for what an iTablet might look like.
