One of the biggest pieces of hardware epxected to appar in a whole slew of different devices set to be announced at CES is the NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. However, while many of these devices will get announced it will be quite some time before we see any of them hit the market. One smartphone powered by the Tegra 2 processor dubbed the LG Optimus 2X has been around for some time and is expected to be the first smartphone running the processor on the market.
Thanks to all of these dual-core processor touting devices, Apple’s iPhone 4 is sure to a much needed run for its money. In fact, what would happen if you were to take one of these Tegra 2 powered devices and put it head to head with the iPhone 4? Well, according to the recently uncovered video, the Tegra 2 is the clear winner when it comes to rendering web pages.
Of course, seeing how there is much room for human error these tests are surely not as accurate as can be but it’s nice to see that the Tegra 2 processor can at least hold its own.
Anyone anticipating the LG Optimus 2X or will you be waiting for other devices to get announced as CES goes on?
