Joby is known for making some terrific applications of their Gorillapod technology. These are flexible stands that were most recently used on the iPhone 4 Flexible tripod.
While I was at CES Unveiled last night, I saw their Ori for the iPad. It reminded me a lot of the Powerstand by Mophie, as it is an aluminum iPad stand.
This one can fold up on the iPad like a super strong metal folder, which gives the Apple tablet some extra protection. I like the hinge on the back that gives the user the option of making a stand for something that can be viewed in portrait or landscape mode.
In short, it is a whole lot of nice for the iPad. I’m not certain when it will be released, but I have a price: $79.95.
