The iPhone 4.2.1 jailbreak tool GreenPois0n has been updated to version RC6. This update brings support for the Apple TV and fixes emulators compatibility issues with GreenPois0n.
Since it came out last week, GreenPois0n has been updated several times, and can now also be used to jailbreak the Verizon iPhone. Although RedSn0w can also provide an untethered jailbreak, GreenPois0n still remains our recommended jailbreak for 4.2.1… (…)

We’ve been telling you about the HTC Thunderbolt quite a bit lately as not only ios it the first 4G enabled phone to hit Verizon’s airwaves but it’s also a pretty noteworthy Android powered device. Hardware features that support this fact include a 4.3-inch screen, 1GHz processor, 768MB of RAM, an 8 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording and 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. However, when compared to next generation phones, the HTC Thunderbolt doesn’t really stack up considering there is no dual-core processor or 1080p video recording.
Luckily, according to a recently leaked Best Buy advert, the HTC Thunderbolt will be at $249.99 with a 2-year contract on Verizon Wireless. Then again, we won’t really know how it compares to Tegra 2 powered devices like the Motorola Atrix until prices are made officially known. On that front, we’ll keep you posted.

It doesn’t look like we have reported on Rightware before, but they are the company that does Audi’s MMI interface.
Our friends at CrunchGear have discovered a new Stereoscopic 3D interface for Android’s home screen. They have been fortunate enough to catch it on video before Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week, and here it is.
There is no sound to it, but it is the visuals that have captured my attention. You have got to love the way it shifts around, like you are in a room full of stools and each one has a different function.
I have no idea what this interface will be used for. Perhaps the XOOM Tablet when it comes out? I’m not certain that an Android phone could contain an interface like this.

As we’ve told you many times in the past the HTC Thunderboltt is one of the most anticipated Android powered phones on its way to Verizon Wireless. Most of this hype can be attributed to the fact that it’s set to be the carrier’s first 4G device but it can also be attributed to the fact that its essentially a clone of the highly popular HTC EVO 4G.
While the phone isn’t set to hit the market for a bit, it’s just been made known it has already gotten the root treatment. That’s right, some hackers over at the XDA Developers forums were able to get their hands on a pre-release version of the HTC Thunderbolt and have proceeded to root it. This is great news for folks looking to pick up the HTC Thunderbolt on launch as they won’t have to wait for the community to root the device.
