This app solves two problems which make handwriting on a touch screen practical: allowing palm down while writing and enabling writing fine text with big finger.
1. PALM DETECTION
It is not only uncomfortable but also impossible to write with your palm up on the air, especially when using a stylus. This app analyzes the structure of the human palm to differentiate between a should-be-rejected palm touch and a valid writing finger touch. The result is that only the finger produces digital ink. Please feel free to test this feature by placing your palm any place on the screen, in any position, you will see an orange message up on the top saying “Palm detected”. Yes, it works for left-handed people too.
2. BIG FINGER – SMALL TEXT
The tip of a finger is 10 times bigger than a pen tip; that makes the iPad screen about the same size as a Post-It note when writing with a finger! How practical would that be if there isn’t a zooming mechanism for writing like a fine-point pen? This app provides a Zoom-Write mode with auto-scrolling feature for effectively using a finger to write fine text.
An interesting side effect of this Zoom-Write is that the writing area is completely outside of the palm area; so there is no palm detection needed.

3. TYPED TEXT
If you feel like typing instead of handwriting, you can use the keyboard to insert typed text anywhere on the page, in any font, any size, any color and any layout.
4. EXPORT TO PDF – UPLOAD TO GOOGLE DOCS
Not only that you can export notes to multi-page PDF documents and download to your computer, you can also email and upload them to your Google Docs account.
5. PAGES TOGETHER
A notebook can have as many pages as you want. You can create as many notebooks as you want. You can insert pages at the end or in the middle of a note book. You can delete a single page or an entire note book. Each page records time when it was last edited.
7. ERASE and RE-ARRANGE
Select drawing strokes, handwriting text, or typed text to erase or move them around.
6. UNDO / REDO
Multi-level undo / redo.
8. OPTIONS, OPTIONS, OPTIONS, …
Change stroke colors, thickness, opacity, stroke fill colors, keyboard text fonts, text colors, font size, paper backgrounds, …
9. INTUITIVE USER INTERFACE
As seen from the screenshots below, the interface was designed to be what you are already familiar with. A great effort was put in to hide controls so that it would not cluster the interface. You should be able to start without a tutorial. However, if you need one, there is one QuickStart guide when the app is first loaded.

What’s New
Fix a major defect pointed out by Studentuser (thank you): moving strokes sometimes did not saved. This was because of a miscalculation on coordinates while optimizing moving operation. It is fixed now!
