When I first came across GetGlue I thought, “Just what I need, another social network.”

The last thing I wanted to do was open another social networking app from my iPhone and check in, “like” things and earn rewards. However, GetGlue can easily win one over with its addictive way to rate and review entertainment and lifestyle content.

GetGlue works much like Foursquare by “checking in” to topics. But instead of locations you choose among movies, TV shows, music, books, video games, celebrities and, oddly enough, wine. Checkins earn stickers, again similar to the badges found on Foursquare. However, one nice perk GetGlue offers is once you earn seven stickers there is an opportunity to receive physical stickers. And honestly, who doesn’t like stickers?

Along with checkins you can “like” and rate favorite content. Check in to a particular item enough times and you can become the Guru. This makes you the resident expert and provides ability to lead discussions on that site’s page. (…)

This is a snapshot of a page from Wired magazine back in 1999, when we all feared Y2K.

Apparently, it mentions a certain wireless handheld dubbed the iPad. It was in the Hype List, and given a life expectancy of 12 months.

I think we should check out Wired for the iPad, now that it is $4.00.

Well, now that the antenna issue has been addressed formally by Apple, we can look at more cover styles for the iPhone 4.

As it turns out, the Zagg Invisible Shield works very well to alleviate the antenna issues. You can see in the video how it works.

This is one of those Taiwanese videos that illustrates the iPhone 4 saga.

It is pretty funny as Steve plays the role of Darth Vader. You might either laugh or cry as you see how he solves one customer’s complaint about the reception. It isn’t in English, but you should be able to understand it.

I have seen a lot of iPhone/iPod Touch accessories like the Fingerist and i-Connex Keyboard.
