I’m not certain how we got word of the Huwaei Ideos X6, but I’m hearing about the Ideos X5 and X6 from Huawei.
The X6 we reported about before with a 4.1 capacitive display, HSPA+ (14.4 mbps), WiFi b/g/n, a-GPS, Google Apps, accelerometer, HD video recording, HD video playback, Dolby Mobile Surround Sound, and HDMI output.
As for the X5, it has essentially the same features: a 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen display, high-speed HSDPA/HSUPA, accelerometer, LED Flash, and a five Megapixel camera.
Unfortunately, there still is no word on price or availability.

A lot of people like the iPhone 4 due to its flash. I am not talking about Adobe Flash, because no iPhone has that.
This is a simple attachment that fits on the end like the Mikey for older versions of the iPhone, and works really well in low-light situations when one LED is needed. No batteries are required, as it simply uses the juice from the iPhone itself.
The device costs about $40.

Elecom has made a very interesting SD card reader, made to attach to the computer via USB.
It’s good for the SD, microSD, and miniSD, and resembles something of a toaster, really. It is good enough for 64 GB at once.
You should be able to get it for about $48.
