Android – Iphone – Applications

Apple’s FaceTime debuted in the iPhone 4, and last week arrived on the iPod touch. Now rumor has it that Apple is working on implementing FaceTime on the OS X and Windows as well. According to MacRumors, FaceTime will be added to Apple’s iChat, while a whole new version of iChat is in the works for Windows.

Remember how we talked about you can do FaceTime over 3G instead of Wi-Fi with a Jailbroken iPhone 4?

Just to let you know, it translates to about 3MB per minute. If you want a comparison, Fring for the iPhone 4 does its application in 1MB per minute, and it can work on other smartphones with a front-facing camera.

Remember when we said how the iPhone 4 had been jailbroken? You can do some pretty cool things with it.

For example, you can do FaceTime for the iPhone 4 over 3G instead of Wi-Fi. This is a lot like Fring, but why not choose the jailbroken crowd?
