Knowsy – Plenty of board games have made the leap to the iPad. Scrabble, Monopoly and other long-time favorites have converted their popular gameplay to the iPad’s multi-touch screen.
Along comes Knowsy. It plays like a board game that has been re-imagined for the iPad. Knowsy is played by trying to guess your competitor’s preferences. One player starts out as the VIP. This person must choose a topic among options such as movie genres, elementary subjects, hobbies, toys or colors. Within these categories are more specific subjects that the VIP must rank in order of preference from one through five. The options are all written in playful font on a series of tiles which are slid around the screen until the choices are complete. (…)

Android is quickly gaining on iOS but thanks to the success of both Apple’s App Store and iPhone, Google’s open source platform still has ground to make up. Luckily, as time goes on, Android’s various offerings will increase and the gap between Android and iOS will decrease.
One popular service that iOS has over Android is Netflix. This popular video streaming application has long been available for devices like the iPad but has yet to make the jump to Android. However, now that Android tablets are quickly approaching the market big name applications like Netflix are sure to make the jump.
And jump they shall as it was just recently announced that the popular Netflix streaming application will in fact be making its way to Android early next year. However, there is a catch. It seems that the Android version of Netflix will only be coming to select devices. Which devices that is remains to be answered but as always, we’ll keep you posted.
