For those of you who don’t know, yesterday marked the first anniversary of Angry Birds, a game so popular that it sparked Angry Birds Day, which was quite high on Yahoo searches.
The day was commemorated by celebrations in multiple cities. Some of these cities saw some lively celebrations, like the ones in New York. Others, like a small gathering in Atlanta, were not so well-gathered.
I think it is a good sign a game that is one year old can have its own unofficial holiday. I’m surprised that Bejeweled doesn’t have one.

It seems like Zombies get a lot of free press on apps like Dead Rising and Pro Zombie Soccer.
Zombie Ala mode is really designed as a zombie game for the whole family. Instead of shooting brain-eating undead with lots of bloodshed, this is about serving them ice cream. No, Zombie Ala Mode is a “plate spinning” game like Sally’s Salon. The object of the game is to fill all orders without getting fired, as if losing your job would be your worst worry in a zombie apocalypse.
The game is available now for $1.99 at the iTunes Store now.

Hopefully you are as excited about Infinity Blade, a game that we reported on a while ago but didn’t have a release date.
The game is available now, and it is your best reason to stop playing WOW Cataclysm right now. It uses the Unreal Engine 3 technology, and you will be able to attack, cast spells, kill bad guys, and get treasure.
You should be able to get it on the iTunes Store for about $5.99.
