What you see here is Across Age EX, a game that is available for free for the day for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
The game is “a Zelda-inspired 2D RPG game”, and features “15 hours of classic 2D action and RPGE gameplay”. I’m sort of a big Zelda fan since Twilight Princess, and perhaps this will satiate my craving until a new Zelda game comes out for the Wii. At this rate, it might be until the next Nintendo version comes out until a new Zelda game comes out.

What you are seeing here is a jailbroken iPad, something that we have already reported on earlier. Apparently, these jailbroken iPads can run many applications, and one of them is a Nintendo N64 emulator.
I’m not certain why iTunes does not have a video game emulator already, but this is a pretty good time to bring this up. After all, I would pay good money to play some of the older Nintendo games on an iPad, especially if they can be played at for a smaller price that I would have paid for back in the day.
Something tells me this isn’t the last emulator that we’ll see for the iPad, jailbroken or not.
Man, I can’t wait until the day where everyone has a Microsoft Surface! To heck with that iPad thing.
This new video shows Microsoft’s Manual Deskterity, and it uses a pen on the Surface to do some interesting tricks. For example, the pen can lasso an item, create a straight edge to cut a photo like an X-acto knife, or the pen can be used as a “stamp” that you have to see for yourself.
Although my Source states that this tech could be applied to the Microsoft Courier Concept, I don’t see why it couldn’t be applied to an iPad. Oh, wait, it’s Microsoft.
Since I covered the EcoCHARGE a few days ago, I might as well get the other Ventev products that I saw at CTIA out of my system.
The PowerCELL is very similar to the PowerPak by Technocel. In other words, it is a portable lithium-ion battery designed for portable power action. You can plug the PowerCELL into a wall outlet or a USB port on your computer, and some indicator lights appear to show that it is charging. It can then be put onto any device that can charge via USB, and you’ve got some power for the road.
You should be able to purchase the PowerCELL on the Ventev site for about $54.99 here. There you will find a list of devices that it is compatible with.
