Considering the iPhone 4 only comes in two colors, it would have been extremely nice to see both the white and black version launch in unison on June 24th of this year but unfortunately Apple saw reason to delay the phone once, and then again. Luckily, according to Apple anyways, the device is still on its way and will be available sometime later this year.

However, it looks like someone in China got a bit anxious and decided to sneak a white iPhone 4 out of a factory in a black iPhone 4 box. Now before you get too excited, make note that it’s very easy to simply pop the front and rear glass off of a black iPhone 4 and swap it out for white paneling but there are a few things that make this legit.

First of all, it features a white home button and headphone jack – both things that would be tremendously hard if not impossible to swap out without leaving any noticeable evidence.

If this is real, it lets us know that a white iPhone 4 is actually coming. If it’s fake, it’s a very elaborate scheme.
