GrooveShark e1281825016589 Get your Groove (Shark) on With Your iPhone

If you feel like it has been months and months since the Beta iPhone app for popular on-demand music streaming giant Grooveshark was released, you are correct. However your patience has been well worth the wait. The application has officially hit the market and is available for free in the App Store, sort of.

Upon downloading the handy jukebox, you will be instantly granted a 30-day trial of the service. Once your month is up, the cost is only $3 a month, or $30 a year if you want to pony up 12 months off the bat. Honestly, that’s a great deal, especially if you compare it to similar services like MOG, or Rhapsody. The best part is you don’t even have to offer up a credit card to start jamming.

Just like web-based version, Grooveshark’s content is posted by the users themselves, thus the ability to find obscurities among the classics is usually painless. The ability to add search results to existing playlists, combined with a “genius” type predictor, works well when constructing the perfect variety.

Inevitably someone is going to compare the pennies a day price to the likes of free music streaming via Pandora, and ask why they should switch. I have a hard time believing anyone who has used both Grooveshark and Pandora would ask. Nevertheless, the ability to outright search for specific song titles and have them played on demand, is in itself worth the small stipend. Don’t believe me? Go use your free trial and get back to me.

340x paypal mobile android bump 280x199 Pay for your Android Apps with PayPal, soonIf you want to get an App for Android, you have to go through Google Checkout, or occasionally through billing by the carrier. However, what if you could get it through PayPal.

This is possibly going to be the future of Android, and it would be a lot like the PayPal method at BlackBerry App world.

We’ll see how this one works. PayPal already has an app for Android.

htc logo123 280x186 HTC working on three new phones, so says a leakThis is an unconfirmed report from a Chinese blog, but apparently HTC has three different phones that it is working on.

Click on the jump to see what we have heard from my source:

The HTC Bee operates on Android 2.2 with HTC Sense UI, 528MHz processor, 5MP camera, LED Flash, 3.2 inch QVGA touch screen display, and 2GB onboard memory in the form of a microSD card. No word on availability or pricing of this device, but it sounds like a solid, mid-range device.

The next HTC smartphone to run Froyo is the HTC Lexikon. The Lexikon features a 3.8 inch touch screen display, 5MP camera, QWERTY keyboard, 800MHz processor, 4GB onboard storage, and HTC Sense as well. This device should probably cost more than the Bee as it comes with slightly better features and specs.

The last HTC phone from the Chinese blog is the Spark, which is set to be a Windows Phone 7 device. It features a 3.7 inch WVGA touch screen, 1GHz processor, 1,350 mAh battery, 5MP camera, Proximity, Light, and G senor, and comes with 512MB of ROM and RAM.

Fragger iPhone AppThis is Fragger, and it is no relation to the game Frogger.

Instead, you will need to toss grenades into places that have enemy soldiers. The key is to do special rebounds off walls and such before the explosion, and occasionally knocking stuff off without the explosion.

You can get this app/game for about 99 cents, go through about 70 levels of explosive goodness.
