psprealmain Sony Ericsson CEO suggests reveal at Mobile World CongressFor some reason, the Sony Ericsson CEO Bert Nordberg hinted to something about a some sort of reveal at Mobile World Congress in February of next year.

Everyone thinks that it is the PlayStation Phone, the one that is still not really confirmed. Some people could say that it could be the Anzu, which I just reported about because we didn’t earlier.

This information comes from the Wall Street Journal, by the way, in case you wonder about the validity of it all.

iadlogo Apple Bringing iAds to Europe by December, Developers Rejoice, Consumers Cry

As you’ve most likely heard time and time again mobile application stores like the iOS App Store and Android Market is a more than viable way for software developers to make a living. In fact, some reports have proven that a handful of app developers have managed to become quite wealthy – all from selling their creations on an application store like the ones listed above.

However, while actually selling their applications is a viable form of income acquiring ad revenue from these same creations is another capable source. Normally, app developers would utilize an ad network provided by a company like Google but, as you’re sure to already know, Apple had gotten into the mobile advertisement game not too long ago. This initiative was dubbed iAds and was supposed to be a new innovative way to target advertisement and peak user interest.

While the United States has been able to enjoy (or not) iAds for quite some time, Europe hasn’t gotten the same treatment. Luckily, it has just been made known that Apple has teamed up with Unilever, Nespresso, Perrier, Renault, Louis Vuitton and L’Oreal to bring iAds to Europe next month. Japanese users dont’ worry, you’ll be getting your iAds early next year.

Honestly though, has anyone gotten anymore value out of iAds than a traditional mobile ad?

lenovo Apparently, Lenovo won’t have their tablets available until 2011Lenovo has put out a lot of IdeaPads, ThinkPads, and now tablets.

In any event, the Wall Street Journal reported that Lenovo will not be doing tablets until 2011, when it was originally slated to hit shelves in late 2010.

Personally, I think this is a little weird. I would think that the company would want to have their new tablet out before the holidays, which is going to be huge for tablets. They will probably on display at CES 2011.
