sony dash 20100701 280x186 Sony Dash Can Now Be Used Outside The United States One of the problems with the Sony Dash was that it had this thing about not working outside of the United States of America.

Sony has recently pulled some strings and made certain that restrictions have been lifted on this personal Internet viewer device, but states that “many providers automatically geo-filter their content so your experience with your Dash may vary depending on your location”. I wonder if that will affect the Netflix ability.

Well, I’m not certain what that will do for the Dash, so I guess we will have to see what develops if you make a mad dash overseas. Oh, that was a bad joke. It must be Friday.
