So many mobile applications are released just about every day for all of the various mobile operating systems. Of these mobile applications, some receive some critical acclaim and others do not. However, many of the mobile applications released by big name software developers usually receive a high level of publicity regardless if they are actually good or not.
One such application is Skype Mobile. If you’ve been paying attention you’ll know that Skype Mobile has been available for several mobile operating system for quite some time including Android. While the app allows you to make calls over WiFi, it does not allow allow you to make 3G calls which effectively limits its usability.
Luckily, the hacking community has managed to hack Skype Mobile for Android giving it the ability to make calls over 3G. Of course, seeing how this isn’t exactly official and/or carrier authorized there is a chance you may incur some extra fees so proceed at your own risk.

We just finished Part 1 of Samsung’s new notebook series with the NF210, and here is another one with the RF510.
The RF510 has an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor with Intel Turbo Boost Technology, and it is definitely targeted at gamers. It has a 15.6 SuperBright HD LED backlit display, with a resolution of 1366 x 768.
Other features include either an Intel Core i7 processor or Intel Core i5 processor. It has a hard drive with dual-bay architecture that is 500-640 GB, and memory of 4GB DDR3. The graphics package is Discreet NVIDIA GeForce GT330M with 1GB of dedicated memory, and audio of True2Sound SRS Premium Sound. It has 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, and a battery life good for 4.5 hours.
It will be out in Fall 2010 for a price of $799. I suppose you could get a Galaxy Tab or the next model if you want to wait that long.

I must confess that I don’t look at Google Earth, but Android users who have version 2.1 can get a new version of Google Earth that has a unique feature of looking at below the water level.
For some reason, it is known as Google Earth for Android 1.1, and you can “zoom in below the surface of the waves and explore the majestic wonder of undersea trenches”. It also has Flash support, allowing YouTube videos to play within the App itself, providing you have the Froyo (Android 2.2) plug-in.
You should be able to get this new version now.
