iPhone 4 Availability 600x233 Get an iPhone 4 in Less Than a Week

It’s funny. I had literally just checked Apple’s website yesterday to see if the shipping times for the iPhone 4 had improved any, and it was still on the 2-3 weeks schedule. Now I check today, and what do you know? Shipping is now an estimated 5-7 business days. Is supply finally catching up with demand? More importantly, does this bode well for the white iPhone 4? exopcslateinpost01 280x186 ExoPC delayed a few weeks, but promises extrasI seem to recall us giving the shipping date for the ExoPC as September 30th, but that date has come and gone.

Unfortunately, it has coming on October 15th, because it has been delayed due to touchscreen delays. You can still pre-order it, and to make up for the tardiness, the company has been generous to offer a free stylus and a three-legged stand.

I believe it is still selling for the price of the 32GB version going for $624 or the 64 GB version for $720. I don’t know if that has changed.

amazonkindlelogo Amazon Planning to Launch iPad Competitor?

The tablet industry is set to be a huge one with several competing devices from various hardware manufacturers. In fact, it seems like just about every hardware manufacturer is set to release their own tablet to compete with Apple’s highly successful iPad.

However, while many have said that Amazon’s Kindle is a competitor for the iPad, the company has continuously insisted that it is not and instead a completely different product. But today, rumors have surfaced that say Amazon will be releasing yet another device with a large capacitive touchscreen that will actuallly directly compete with the iPad.

Unfotunately we have virtually no details on this or even official confirmation it’s real but it would be quite interesting to see what the online mega retailer would bring to the game.

Would you buy an Amazon tablet?

ExoPC Slate 1 You can pre roder the ExoPC now
I’m sure that you probably know about the ExoPC Slate, as we reported it would ship in September, specifically September 30th.

For those that don’t know, the ExoPC Slate is “a Windows 7 tablet that places a customized UI over the OS to make it more touch-friendly”.

Until today, the Slate was shipping on September 30, but it has now been pushed back to October 15. With the delay comes the announcement that both the 32 and 64 GB versions of the Slate will be using SanDisk P4 mini-SSDs that a quite fast (220 MB/s read, 160 MB/s write speeds), that should give both versions about four hours of battery life. The 64 GB version was stripped of it’s GPS unit, however.

Sorry about that push-back date. It is up for pre-order now with the 32GB version going for $624 or the 64 GB version for $720.
