As a writer, I am well aware of the importance of working without distraction. This Writer App for the iPad is about the equivalent of writing with a typewriter.
According to my Source, Writer is designed to be completely minimalist, which removes things like autocorrect and cut and paste. Hopefully, you can export those documents if you want to edit them later. Maybe on the updated Pages.
You should be able to get this app for about $5.
