With all of the buzz circulating regarding mobile application stores from companies like Apple and Google with their App Store and Android Market, respectively, a huge push has been made by developers towards creating the next best app. While Apple’s App Store is currently dominating thanks to their early start, Android’s massive marketshare is helping the platform flourish.
If you’re a developer (or just someone interested) who is looking for the T-Mobile MyTouch 4G source code you will be happy to hear that HTC has released them today. To grab them just head over to HP’s developer website here.

We have reported on the T-Mobile myTouch 4G before, and we have just received some new details.
First of all, the phone has been branded with the name myTouch 4G, when it was originally given the back-to-basics name myTouch. I guess T-Mobile wasn’t big on restarting a franchise with using the original name, like Star Trek or Fast and Furious. Also, who wants to confuse it with the myTouch 3G or myTouch 3G Slide.
Also, we have a release date of November 3rd, along with a $200 price tag with $50 mail-in rebate.

Now a days, Google’s Android mobile operating system has found its way onto just about every major wireless carrier here in the glorious US of A. However, the single carrier that started it all was none other than T-Mobile.
T-Mobile first picked up Android back in 2008 when they launched the T-Mobile G1 – the world’s first publicly available Android powered device. At the time, Android was a mere shell of what it was today but thanks to Google’s top notch engineers the platform has become capable enough to compete with even the best.
The software isn’t the only element that’s come a long way as the hardware has improved dramatically as well. Gone are the days of the T-Mobile G1 and upon us are the days of the HTC myTouch 4G – coming to T-Mobile soon. This device will feature a 3.8-inch touchscreen, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a front facing camera for video conferencing and a rear facing 5 megapixel camera. As you can see from the above picture, the device will also becoming in 4 different color schemes so you’ll have quite the variety to choose from.
Software wise we’re looking at Google’s Android 2.2 mobile operating system and even WiFi calling. When exactly this device will be out and at what price point we aren’t sure but rumors suggest a November launch.
We’ll keep you posted.

I’m sure you know about the Fascinate by now with its recent release and its buy one get one free deal. Some of you might not like that Samsung Fascinate defaults to Bing as its Search Engine, but there is some good news.
Once Verizon releases the Android 2.2 (Froyo) update, Fascinate users should be able to download a Google Search application. Granted, it will go to Bing after hitting the dedicated Search button, but it will lift the Google restriction.
I wonder if a rooted Fascinate will affect it.
