galaxys Samsung Galaxy S 2 Coming to MWC Next Year?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – Samsung’s Galaxy S line up of Android powered smartphones have quickly become some of the hottest devices on the market. However, with new technology like the NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core mobile processor just over the horizon, Samsung is going to need to move fast with a successor in order to stay ahead of the curve.

It’s been generally accepted for a while that Samsung would go on to release a Galaxy S successor but when exactly we would be able to see that device remains anyone’s guess. Today, reports have surfaced that say Samsung will be taking center stage at next years Mobile World Congress in Barcelona to showcase the Galaxy S 2. Of course, what exactly the device will feature is a mystery but if you were to ask us we would say more internal storage, higher resolution displays/cameras and beefed up processors and RAM. Of course, Android ‘Gingerbread’ 2.3 will also quite evidently be making an appearance.

Are you anticipating the Samsung Galaxy S 2 or are you all set with the original?

As you know, LG also has a line up of Android powered devices that fall into their Optimus series. It’s long been rumored that LG would go on to announce a tablet just like every other hardware manufacturer. htcdesirehd HTC Desire HD Passes Through FCC – Destined for Telus?

HTC is one of the world’s biggest smarpthone manufacturers with several of their Android powered offerings being regarded as the best on the market. With increasing competition from other hardware manufacturers HTC must continue to push out hard hitting devices in order to keep up.

One device that we’ve known about for a while but has yet to hit the streets is the HTC Desire HD. This device is currently available overseas and features a 4.3-inch screen, 1GHz processor, 768MB of RAM and of course Android 2.2. If you were wondering when this device will be available in North America you’ll be happy to know that it has just been spotted at the FCC, as you can see above.

While it does feature North American 3G compatibility (according to the listing) word has it that this device will actually be made available through the Canadian wireless carrier Telus. Does this mean the US will never see the device? We’ll have to wait and see.
