After the RAZR craze passed Motorola pretty much fell off the map in terms of hard hitting handset releases. However, following the launch of Google’s Android mobile operating system along with a close partnership with Verizon Wireless, Motorola is once again creeping towards the top. Not only do they have the immensely popular DROID and DROID 2 sliders but they also have the Droid X superphone with its massive display and 1GHz processor. According to a recently leaked screenshot of the Verizon Wireless system, Motorola doesn’t look to be stopping there.
3 new devices have been leaked from this set of screen shots. First up is the Motorola DROID Pro which will reportedly feature a 4-inch display, 1.3GHz processor all falling under the model number A957. Additionally, a World Edition of their recently released Motorola DROID 2 is apaprantly in the pop line with the model number A956.
The most intriguing information we’ve been able to extract from this leak, however, revolved around the Motorola MZ600. While nothing is confirmed, it’s rumored that the MZ600 will be Motorola’s first attempt at a slate tablet running Google’s Android 2.2 operating system.
Unfortunately, all of these tid bits remain rumors until Motorola or Verizon come forth to announce more.
