While Apple’s iOS still leads by a healthy margin Google‘s Android Market has been gaining quite a bit of steam lately, especially in the game department. Those who enjoy turn based side-scrolling combat will be interested to hear that Worms is now available on the Android Market for $2.99. The Worms franchise has been around for quite some time but for those who aren’t familiar with the gameplay – you’re put on a team or placed in a free for all must take turns strategically placing shots and other attacks in a side scrolling environment. It’s more fun than it sounds, trust me.
Check out a video of gameplay for a taste of the action after the break.
