iphone4 verizon dude 230 CDMA iPhone rumored for India as exclusivities end in Germany and HollandMore fuel for the CDMA iPhone fire today. The Wall Street Journal says that Apple is in talks with both Reliance Communications and Tata Teleservices to bring a CDMA version of its iPhone — the one it again says will be on sale at Verizon early next year — to India. The discussions have apparently been ongoing for four or five months according to one WSJ source.

This comes out as news of iPhone exclusivity arrangements are ending in both Germany and The Netherlands. In Germany, Deutsche Telekom loses its exclusive now that both O2 and Vodafone will be offering Apple’s finest before the holidays. In Holland, T-Mobile just lost its exclusive arrangement as both KPN and Vodafone have announced plans to carry the iPhone — no specific dates were mentioned though, like Germany, in time for the holidays is a pretty good guess.

galaxy tab porn 280x184 Whoa! Is that a Porn icon on the Samsung Galaxy Tab?Okay, I got your attention, but just to let you know, this has nothing to do with anything NSFW.

Apparently, the Samsung Galaxy Tab hat this icon marked “Porn” on its homescreen, but it is nothing naughty. In fact this is short for “pornire”, the Romanian word for “start”.

You have to admit that is pretty funny.

htcdesirehd1 HTC Desire HD Android Smartphone Available For Pre Order Through Vodafone, Shipping October 14th

HTC is one of the leading manufacturers when it comes to Android powered smart phones. They’ve already pushed out several devices powered by the platform with some receiving critical acclaim. One such device is the HTC EVO 4G on Sprint which features a 4.3-inch touchscreen, 1GHz processor and of course 4G connectivity, among other things.

However, just because they’ve already had several big released doesn’t mean they’re looking to slow down anytime soon. In fact, today it was announced that the HTC Desire HD has gone up for pre-order over at Vodafone for as little as free if you’re willing to sign up for a 2-year contract worth at least £35 per month. Of course, you won’t actually get your phone until the 24th but that’s not too long to wait for such a good looking phone.

For those wondering what the HTC Desire HD packs in terms of specs, it’s basically the same exact thing as the HTC EVO 4G minus the 4G connectivity. Got it?

HTC is gearing up to launch a whole slew of devices running a whole slew of different platforms. However, the platform that they will focus on the most thanks to previous success is Google’s Android. This mobile source operating system has powered success handsets previously released by HTC such as the EVO 4G on Sprint.

A future handset that HTC will release running Google’s Android is the Desire HD. We’ve heard about this device several times in the past with its 4.3-inch touchscreen, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 768MB of RAM and 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash. As you can tell from the specs, it’s basically an HTC EVO 4G minus the 4G connectivity.

Those in the UK looking to get their hands on the HTC Desire HD will be happy to hear that it is officially coming to Vodafone UK. We’ve been notified of this release by the leaked poster that you can see above.
